become famous all over the world through the recent years.

You may all
know BTS, TWICE, BLACKPINK, ITZY, TXT, REDVELVET etc. etc. just to mention a
few. but do you know the first ever
Person to even start something called K-pop?
It is none
other than a South Korean record producer, entrepreneur LEE SOO MAN. (according
to Wikipedia)
According to
Wikipedia, he was educated in the U.S where he got exposed to the trends in American
music and started his own company or entertainment company named SM ENTERTAINMENT.
AND THE
FIRST ONE TO DEBUT in SM?
H.O.T – a
boy group with members Heejun, Woohyuk, Tony, Kangta, Jaewon on 7th september 1996 under SM ENTERTAINMENT.
But according to another source it
seems there was K-pop even before SM?!
